Namaste means “my soul recognizes yours” not “I tripped really hard at a festival once and now I’m filled with the wisdom of the Earth”

I think a lot of the problem with feminism stems from tumblr. Not to say that all of tumblr is the same, but I’ve noticed a trend of hating men for no apparent reason. Calling someone “Cis male scum” just because they are cis and male is just not okay. But sometimes we get so up in arms we forget about the other things. Like how much feminism is needed in third-world countries over ours. Or how feminism means equality, and equality means female murderers and rapists to be brought to light just the same as the male.

We get so angry at the patriarchy for how it affects us, that we forget how it affects men too. Something they also forget.

I feel that with a lot of people, feminism is just a label to fit in. They say they’re a feminist but then fawn over their white male gay ships, practice bi-erasure and transphobia while they’re at it.

So I’m not saying it’s bad to be a feminist, and I’m sure as hell not going to stop. There’s just more important causes right now. Everyone deserves to be equal, and tumblr’s brand of feminism can lose sight of that very easily.

This is the truest statement I will ever reblog.

uh… normalcy is defined by commonality. If you wanted to say that homosexuality was just as natural as heterosexuality, that’s probably more accurate.

The more accurate statement would be along the lines of “Heterosexuality isn’t normal, it’s just what you’re used to.” or “Heterosexuality isn’t normal, heteronormativy is just what you’re used to,” Connotation is everything.

sometimes my emotion is just the word “fuckign”

I’ve never met cr1tikal but I trust him.

I feel if I was in any horror situation I would be so safe and calm because with any other person they would be screaming and crying but if he and I were trapped in a building surrounded by ravenous mutants he would just be deadpan like “they are so rude I can’t believe this. Let’s blow this Popsicle stand.”

i don’t know who cr1tikal is but the posts I see about him let me know that i love him
